Collection and use of personal data
We would like to draw your attention to the fact that we will collect and use the personal data you provide to us because this is necessary in the run-up to the conclusion of an agreement, in order to actually conclude an agreement with you and to feed. We will explain this further below.

If you are a (potential) customer of ours, we use your data to communicate with you about our products, to deliver order (s) and to communicate with you smoothly and efficiently about your order (s), any repairs, handle returns and complaints, to make shopping in our web shop easier for you and to be able to send newsletters to you.

Create an account
To make purchases via our web shop, you can create an account by registering. This is not mandatory, but useful if you place orders more often. When registering, we ask you to enter a number of personal details (name and address details). You can also specify a (standard) billing and delivery address. This allows you to go through the checkout faster during checkout, view your order history and easily make changes to your personal information and to your delivery and billing address. We store the specified personal data via the username and password you have chosen. You therefore do not have to enter this information every time. We only process your personal data in the context of a personal account with your permission. If your account 7 years is inactive, we will delete your account.

Contact form and correspondence by e-mail
On the website you also have the option to fill in a contact form.
You can also send us an e-mail at the e-mail address mentioned on the website or otherwise known to you. In both situations, the data you send will be kept for as long as is necessary to process your question or request correctly and completely.

Advertising mailings
If you have given us permission to do so, we will keep the personal data you have provided and use it to inform you personally by e-mail in the future about our existing and new products and possibly to make you an offer for this. We send these newsletters once, every 3 moths/ quarter. Every time we send you an advertising mail, you have the option to let us know that you no longer appreciate this.
See the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each mailing. You can also email us at any time at info@ergoswiss.nl to let us know that you no longer wish to receive newsletters.

Not obliged to provide data
You are not obliged to provide us with your personal data. If you provide us with insufficient or no personal data, however, we may not be able to carry out the aforementioned activities or may not be of good service to you.

Retention period
We keep personal data of customers for a period of seven years after the end of the financial year in which the agreement with you has been fully executed. The seven-year period corresponds to the period within which we are obliged to keep our records for the tax authorities. After this period we will delete your personal data.

If you have left your personal data with us in the ordering process, but ultimately have not placed an order, we will store your data for the duration of 7 years.

Provision to third parties
1. Delivery service
In connection with the execution of any agreement with you, we may have to provide your personal data to the transport company to whom we provide your name and address details, so that the product can actually be delivered to you. We have a legitimate interest in this transfer, namely the interest to outsource certain activities to third parties.

2. Server provider, Microsoft Office, MailChimp
We also use external server space to store (parts of) our sales administration and our customer database, of which your personal data are part. For this reason, your personal data is provided to our server space provider. We also use Microsoft Office and the associated storage options for e-mails and other files. Finally, we use MailChimp, a newsletter mailing service that belongs to “Apple”, a company in the United States. MailChimp has a Privacy Shield certificate, so that there is an appropriate level of protection for the processing of your personal data.
